About the HACIA Scholarship Foundation

The HACIA Scholarship Foundation is non-profit organization whose mission is to award undergraduate students financial awards to assist them with the completion of their construction related degrees, and to encourage High School seniors to enter into higher education with a monetary support. The Foundation strives to promote awareness of professional career opportunities and continues to raise the bar in its goal to promote the future leaders of the Construction Technology.
Since its inception HACIA Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $393,500 in scholarships to over 222 students pursuing careers in engineering, architecture or construction technology. At last year’s Scholarship Awards Luncheon, 15 high school and college students beginning or continuing their construction related studies were awarded a total of $20,500 in scholarships.
HACIA Scholarship Foundation is affiliated with the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), a 31-year old, not-for-profit business organization that works to ensure the equitable participation of its constituents in the Chicago area construction industry, as well as to promote growth, professionalism, integrity and quality of work. Throughout the years, it has grown to become one of Chicago’s leading business associations.
