As part of HACIA's continual effort to provide educational scholarships within our industry, we ask you for your support in recognizing the importance of encouraging young people to enter into construction related studies. Hispanic students entering engineering, architecture and construction related careers would create a long term positive effect in our industry.

Your sponsorship not only will encourage young students to pursue construction related studies, but provide motivation to those already in the field. Additionally, an architectural scholarship has been established in memory of Alphonse G. Guajardo beginning 2006. This scholarship will be awarded to students seeking their Master of Architecture from the
University of Illinois at Chicago.

HACIA Scholarship Foundation is affiliated with the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), a 28-year old, not-for-profit business organization that works to ensure the equitable participation of its constituents in the Chicago area construction industry, as well as to promote growth, professionalism, integrity and quality of work. Throughout the years, it has grown to become one of Chicago’s leading business associations.
